Dr Philip Singh graduated with an MBBS from the University of Western Australia in 2005 and completed his intern training at Sir Charles Gardner Hospital. Moving to Brisbane he pursued his interest in Dermatology, intially working in private practice as a Clinical Assistant in Dermatology as well as holding a post as a Research Officer with the Dermatology Research Centre at The University of Queensland School of Medicine.

Dr Singh then went on to undertake specialist Dermatological training, studying in both Queensland (where he spent time under the tutelage of a Plastic Surgeon) and here in WA, working at all of Perth’s major tertiary teaching hospitals before completing the rigorous examination process to become a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists in 2013.

After completing a stint gaining further specialist experience in South East Queensland focusing on Lasers, Cosmetic and Aesthetic Dermatology, Dr Singh returned home to Perth and is committed to continue offering the very best Dermatological treatment through his private practice.

Dr Gul Erkin has extensive experience both overseas and here in Australia. She graduated with her medical degree from Hacettepe University in Turkiye. She pursued her residency at the same institution before completing additional training at Yale University, and then at New York University where she earned a fellowship in Dermatopathology, being awarded a Diploma of Dermatopathology by the International Board of Dermatopathology.

Dr Erkin has published several articles in international medical journals, presented at International Congresses, and gained expertise in education, research and administration.

After relocating to Australia, Dr Erkin worked at three different locations in Perth to complete her upskilling to be recognised as a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists, and we welcome her to the team.

Dr Erkin is passionate about providing the best of patient care and accepts referrals for Adult and Paediatric General Dermatology.

Dr Helena Collgros is the Dermatology Fellow at Perth Skin Specialists Clinic during 2023.

She obtained a Bachelor in Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine of the Autonomous University of Barcelona, Spain.  She completed her Dermatology and Venereology specialisation in Barcelona in 2014, after which she worked as a Dermatologist at the public university hospital Germans Trias i Pujol in Barcelona (2014-2016).

Dr Collgros has worked in Australia since 2016, spending 6 years at the Sydney Melanoma Diagnostic Centre at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney, where she attended patients at high risk for developing melanoma and skin cancer, including performing reflectance confocal microscopy and managing their High-Risk Melanoma Clinic, before moving to Perth in 2023.

Her fields of expertise and research interests include pigmented lesions, melanoma, skin cancer and imaging techniques. She has authored and co-authored more than 35 publications in National and International Journals. She is a clinical lecturer (The University of Sydney) working in clinical research in the field of Oncodermatology.
