Information for patients

As we are a specialist medical practice, Medicare requires all patients wishing to claim a rebate for consultations to present a valid doctors referral at the time of your consultation. Please note that not all procedures are eligible for a Medicare rebate – we will outline all costs and rebates with you during your consultation.

If you are a new patient, please see your GP and request a letter of referral prior to your scheduled appointment with us.

If you are an existing patient of Perth Skin Specialists, please contact our staff to check the validity of your current referral for any subsequent consultations.

We are happy to see you without a referral, but please be aware that not having one means you’ll be unable to claim a Medicare rebate.
